Arrival in Warsaw
We arrived in Warsaw yesterday, but it was pretty hectic so I am catching up today.
The flight was good--we flew in a Boeing 787-8--but it was a redeye and neither if us slept very well. The food was OK (by my standards) but again, you can't expect much when flying economy. Next backup, passport control. We must've been in line at least an hour. I'm glad we didn't have a connecting flight.
But finally we made it to our hotel, Novotel Warszawa Centrum, about 3:30 pm. It's a great location and I have been a fan of the Accor group of hotels since our 2019 trip.

It was rainy and foggy when we arrived so we went out to a nearby mall for dinner and some shopping, Złote Tarasy. It was a relatively short walk from our hotel, right past the Palace of Science and Culture. Here are some pics from the walk:

By the time we left in the evening the fog had blown off . It got colder, but the views were better.
View of the Palace. Fe assured my color-blind eyes it was lit in pink. I will have to check if Breast Cancer Awareness month is an international thing.

That just about covers everything we did yesterday. Today we plan on seeing the Old Town and I hope to post later today.
